<p>The actual purpose of CC is to provide advice on college, high school, etc. Of course, not all threads do that :p .</p>

<p>The purpose of College Confidential is to give you a place to go when you feel like avoiding homework. The reason it's nice for skipping homework because the "college" in the title gives your conscience a little break when you feel bad about not doing what you're supposed to be doing.</p>
