<p>My status is also “File Under Review”. I applied for the Biology major, but the admissions counselors said that major is not a factor in the decision (because so many change their major), so you should be alright. </p>

<p>Does anyone know roughly how long it normally takes to go through pre.dept evaluation ? as my buzzport has had that up now for about 5 weeks.</p>
<p>As I got rejected by PennState today, I am no longer hopeful that GaTech would accept me. But still, maybe I will be deffered.</p>

<p>The Georgia Tech Buzzport page has been changed to not let you ‘check’ application status anymore, now saying that the decision will post tomorrow afternoon for those who applied Early Action. On the admission forums (accessible from the Buzzport), the staff also said that the decisions will be rolling out Friday afternoon (not at a specific time in the afternoon), so it could be anytime later tomorrow I suppose. </p>
