Hey everyone, I was just wondering about the guaranteed transfer students for 2010. Maybe a Binghamton Rep. could help shed some light on this, but all are welcome to post!!

I was guaranteed admission for fall 2010, what kind of disadvantages do incoming sophomores face? Is everyone living off campus by then? Would you be with other sophomores?

Anyone have any other thoughts or comments?

I don’t know much honestly about guaranteed transfers but I don’t believe you have a real disadvantage as coming in as a sophomore other than knowing people prior. Most people are still in the dorms during their soph year and you may or may not be with sophs. The dorms are mixed but generally transfers are with other upperclassmen living in the dorms. Every once in a while you will be placed with a freshman or another transfer.

Hi. I’m transfering this fall 2009 as a Sophomore class of 2012. I’m transfering from the College of William and Mary.

That’s good to know that people don’t seem to be at a disadvantage!

What made you want to transfer to Bing starling?
