<p>Congratulations to all – you’ve made a great choice. My Daughter is finishing up her first semester now, and though she was a little nervous before she got there, now she loves loves loves GW! She’s made great friends, has difficult but rewarding classes, and is really enjoying DC at her doorstep (she can see the top of the Washington Monument from her dorm room). This is truly a world class university, getting better all the time. Try an experiment – each day, do a google news search of George Washington University – it’s amazing - there is always something newsworthy going on there. Try it again with even the most famous schools, and you’ll see a big difference – GW is way more happening than those other stodgy places! Today’s Washington post says ED apps are up 20% this year, so the word is out – you guys who got in should be very proud – you’re going to have a tremendous experience! BTW – don’t miss one of the Colonial Inauguration sessions next summer, you’ll start school already knowing many of your classmates.</p>
