H1N1 Vaccine in Gainesville - FYI

UF finally got some H1N1 vaccine in stock last week but the supply was gone within hours.

University of Florida News - H1N1 nasal spray vaccines available for students

The website does say that they will be getting more in but there is no time frame for this.

If you/your UF child would like to be vaccinated sooner (rather than later, when UF gets some more in stock), the Alachua County Health Department does have the H1N1 vaccine in stock. They have both the flumist and the injection and there is a cost of $25 for it. The vaccine, both forms, takes up to 2 weeks to become fully effective. This is something to keep in mind for those who are flying home for the Thanksgiving holiday.
