Haas Undergraduate Questions

Hi, sorry if this seems like an obvious answer but I am a bit clueless and my research has come up short on this topic. Anyways, I am heading into my senior year and planning on applying to Berkeley. I am primarily interested in business, specifically finance. However, the Haas undergrad program seems like it is for Undergrads after two years of study at UC Berkeley. What are my options in terms of major/concentration prior to applying in my sophomore year? In other words, what exactly can I study or put on my freshman application for intended major in the meantime? Thanks

For freshman intending on a business major, this is from the UC Berkeley application website:

“Interested in pre-business? Freshman applicants are not able to apply directly to the Haas School of Business to major in business administration. If you are interested in applying potentially majoring in business administration, you should select the option for “Intending to major in Social Sciences” under the College of Letters and Science. Selecting this option will have no bearing on your class availability and your preparation for admission to the upper division business major.”
