Haha I just got a reply from my counselor

I have NO idea where this post is suppose to be, so if its not in the right place, please move it.

We do not rank our students. We feel a students course selection and
grades present the most positive information. We also do not weight
grades. In some schools a 3.50 GPA might be in the top 15% in the
class.
A student from Academy Park High School with a 3.1 GPA is in the top
20%
of the class. A similar GPA at SHHS would be in the top 50%. We just
have too many good students who would be hurt by the comparison. Many
competitive schools aren't looking for candidates outside the top 10%
of
the class. One would need a 3.95 GPA to be in our top 10% if we
ranked.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

isnt that a relief :D

How does that apply to us? My school is extremely competitive. In fact, either 3.8 unweighed or 4.1 GPA/4.5 is ranked in the top 30%, something like that. Can you believe that?!

oh dang 3.8? well Im happy with my 4 :P
