Is anyone thinking about applying there? I wish more people would post...

My daughter will be applying to Hamilton. It is an awesome school!

i am sort of interested in hamilton but i really know almost nothing about it. could you enlighten me please?

It is a small liberal arts college in upstate New York, with a student population of about 2,750. It is beautifully situated with a gorgeous campus. I warn you their sports teams, especially their football team, are not the best but they try. However, I do believe their hockey team is good, I think. Hamilton has no academic requirments, i.e. you don't have to take a certain class if you don't want to. But honestly, the best way to find out about a school is to ask them for information (go to: www.hamilton.edu) and visit the campus. I will be attending in the Fall of 2006 (I deferred my acceptance for a year in order to travel, and I am currently studying in Oxford) and am over the moon about the school. But definitely check out the website and visit the campus.

Waspie, Hamilton has about 1,780 students according to their website. I think the 2750 number fits Colgate just down the road. But you are right - Hamilton is a great school.

It has been some time since I looked at all the facts... But I do appreciate the correction. Information about schools sometimes just runs together...

It's 2:44 here! crazy

hamilton is nice, but I lived 5 minutes from Hamilton my entire life (in Rome), and there is not much to do... however, I still love upstate (actually, central :-P) New York.

i am thinking about applying, the location is exactly where i want it, but i dont think i would get in, so i have had it off my list for a while. Would anyone be willing to read my essay for me?
