Will commit to one of these two colleges. I am undecided on my major, leaning toward econ for now but could end up with bio. Location (rural or suburban) is not an issue for me. Comments please, thank you,
Go to the admitted student days and see which feels right.
I think EyeVee is correct that attending admitted students day allows you to really get a feel for the campus and the school. That being said, as a Hamilton student, I must say that our economics program is top-notch. Wall Street is a popular destination for Hamilton alums. I know several people who have studied off-campus for a semester with the Hamilton NYC program, which allows students to live in downtown Manhattan, interning at some of the most prestigious banks in the world.
Both Haverford and Hamilton are great schools. Congratulations and good luck with your decision!
Congratulations! Was hoping that you would share your choice. My d is a junior and we visited Haverford during the summer and are planning to visit Hamilton later this year. Would appreciate you thoughts. Thanks!
@hsparent17: After the accepted student days, it’s Hamilton for me. I did the summer visits too; both campuses were empty. If possible, you may want to visit when students are on campus. It will help your D to get a feel of the community.
Thanks @1college2enrol. We visited U of Penn this past Monday and what a difference it was to see a campus alive with students. We will have to revisit for sure. Congratulations and best of luck!
