@MrMom62 My times are not fast enough for DI school like Colgate… But I have a little bit of chance at D3 but gotta work hard this season!

I would contact each schools’ financial aid department to find out what the situation is for internationals, and if there is any way of evaluating your chance at reasonable aid. Different schools place very different emphases on the desirability of diversity and international student attendance, and so where some schools might have money for internationals, some might not. You have to ask them.

I would still contact the coaches at any DIII school you’re interested in. Let them tell you if your times are good enough to peak their interest - they know most athletes improve over time, even if you haven’t hit the marks yet. They know how to gauge for that.

@MrMom62 Definitely doing that! Thank you! Side question: do you think its easier for me to get into Colby than Colgate (sorry the question is really naive but I want to hear some opinions)

Probably not - Colby has shot up in the rankings and I know they’ve been more and more difficult to get into lately. At best, they’re about equal, but I’d have to see the latest stats to be sure.

@MrMom62 Hmm alright, I can’t go wrong with either schools i guess… I’ll just give a shot for both!
