<p>My '08 resolutions:</p>

<h1>1 enjoy my senior year in high school</h1>

<h1>2 find uber aid for college</h1>

<h1>3 finish choreographing the Matrix Revolutions Navras song</h1>

<h1>4 try my hand at HMMT and not wince</h1>

<h1>5 pick up a new sport (indoor rowing/archery/hmm ...)</h1>

<h1>6 ..#8 still resolving</h1>

<h1>9 have a great start to a freshman year in Fall '08</h1>

<p>It all happened like this....I was listening to the song "little old lady from Pasadeena, do do do doop, du du du doo...."
heading in to get a jar of sunflower butter from my local Trader Joe's. </p>

<p>...picking up the Trader Joe circular on my way back to wipe :eek: my mouth
I noticed that Trader Joe was headquartered in Pasadena. I came home and
fond the envelope from .....yes, you guessed it, Pasadena! </p>

<p>I just reread what I wrote above and it is truly pointless... but for reasons to want to go to CALTECH:</p>

<p>"Trader Joe HQ in pasadena attracted me" has got to be :cool:</p>

<p>My resolutions for 2008 (I'm sure most Techers have similar resolutions)</p>

<p>1) Don't flame</p>

<p>My 2008 resolution? Graduate.</p>

<p>Er? What's "flame" mean?</p>

<p>Flame = fail or drop enough courses that you are asked to leave, usually for a quarter, after which you appeal to the Undergraduate academic standards and honors committee to be readmitted, which you usually are.</p>

<p>I would like to climb Mt. Whitney in 2008.</p>

<p>Mine is something like... get an A on an essay in AP English.</p>

<p>but I want to finish something that I started last semester: ELIMINATE PAPER!</p>

<p>Last semester, I started digitizing notes/handouts/homework to eliminate clutter. No matter how you organize huge piles of paper, it never works out well. Unfortunately, I got caught-up in other things. I'm going to start again in the Winter/Spring semester and hopefully have a paperless backpack/desk.</p>

<p>Arwens - Yes, indeed, TJs started in Pasadena. (thought, I think their headquarter is now in Monrovia) There is one that is in close walking distance to Caltech. I live in Pasadena, and since I have a car, I have no less than 7 in easy driving distance.</p>

<p>The first two are probably the same as Arwen!</p>

<p>3# Visit USA!!! Switzerland and Rome! :D
4# Complete my research project
5# Spend more time blogging</p>

<p>And the most important one( read as one I am going to break as soon as possible)</p>

<p>Try cutting down on chocolate :D</p>
