Clouds are starting to come in down here, too, @toledo. Rain is in the forecast for tomorrow and Wednesday as it moves over from California. We sure can use all we can get.

We are having our 12th atmospheric river here in San Diego. And incidentally, I have learned that Pineapple Express is a subset of atmospheric river.
Drove past a scenic brick wall with the first daffodils I’ve seen in bloom below it today.
Sun, snow, rain, wind, graupel (snow and ice types) in the span of an hour walking the dog on the first day of spring.
Just got back from Sunny Minneapolis, where it was a balmy 39 degrees, and the snow melted a bit. So it was, indeed, their version of Spring.
My daughter thought she could go in our back door the other day when we were going to decorate for my husband’s surprise birthday party but I told her there was no way she could get over the huge mounds of snow.
We have daffodils poking up.
That’s always such a cheerful sight to see daffodils coming! Still waiting on mine.
