Hard Copy

I heard that common app online locks everything in your account including the essays once you submit it to one of your schools (ex. your EA school).

So would it be okay to print out a hard copy and submit it to early action school so that you can still change the common app that's online, which you intend to send later for regular decisions.

thanks for the help

I personally have answered this question about 20 times, please try to use the Search function.

Here is the CA support center, go to Change after Submission and then question #2:

The important point is to only have the school(s) you want the essay to go to in your "My colleges", submit, then revise your essay, save, change "My colleges" to your next school(s), submit, etc.

Thanks for the help. Sorry about that.

One of the reasons I rarely post - especially not questions, is that I dread getting a snippy response like what was given above by entomom. Not everyone has been living in the CC world for years. I am new to college admissions, as is my child. We are learning as we go, as best we can - and there is nothing worse than to be slapped with an exasperated "I've answered this 20 times" sort of response. It's possible that at newby like me never thought to do a search which really is no crime! Next time, ignore our annoying posts rather than rudely responding. Eventually, a patient nice person will respond. Nevertheless, your explanation for the multiple common apps was good. Thank you.
