“No, costs will be higher because of the inflation caused by printing said money.”

At any point we have inflationary pressures in some areas and deflationary pressures in others. The question is which is winning. I would argue that deflation has clobbered inflation over the last nine months. Our continuing unemployment numbers are one confirmation of this. States having to deal with major budget problems are another confirmation of this.

My son got into wash u,vandy.nothwestern,emory…210 k for 4 year college.
need to take MCAT…try his luck & cough up another 240 k for med school

He also got into saint louis university…med scholar program…92 k for college &guaranteed med school if he maintains 3.5 gpa.

He also got into 6 year med school…costs 190 k …

I dont know what is the best thing to do…

any opinion

thanks

6 year program if u are looking at just the $$

but 6 year is very rigourous.

Medical schools abroad admit the students directly after high school and it works fine.
I guess here in the USA most college administrators don’t believe that high school graduates are mature enough to decide about their future long term.
Another level of academic bureucracy makes medical education and medical providers extremely expensive for the average family.

If the young guy is certain that this is the love of his life, knows the hardships and he is capable of excelling in a rigorous schedule then the 6 yr medical school or the quaranteed with 3.5 gpa are his best choices.

thanks medkid 06 .

Thanks Akis.
