Hardest major?

Hahaha, well estimating the abilities of ACM majors by P.H. is like estimating the average college senior by the average Caltech student. (Almost.)

To be fair, I'm pretty sure his results from this summer haven't been officially published at present -- just submitted (econ journals have slow turnaround). But I expect they'll be out soon. He's an incredible kid.

I really appreciate your help, but are there any chem majors that prowl these threads?

halfthelaw, I'm not sure exactly how it works, but I know of a senior who's graduating this year (after 4 years) with both a BS and MS in geology. She didn't have to apply to grad school -- she just realized partway through this year that she was very close to getting both, and decided to push hard through to finish.

Admiral, I don't think I know of anyone on this forum that is majoring in chemistry, but if you ask your question, we can communicate it to a chem major we know and pass the info back to you. Or if you want something more long winded and direct, you could ask Admissions for the name of a chem major you could contact on your own.

I'm a frosh who will most likely declare a chem major at the end of this term, so I suppose you could ask me and if I couldn't answer your questions I could go bug some other chem folk.

physics is the hardest in my opinion

Someone did a BS and MA in geology in 4 years? Is it possible to do that with biology?

How's the compsci?
