I'm from LA...I know Harrisonburg is much smaller so will it be much more boring if I go to JMU?

Guess it depends on what you like to do. If you want a “city” scene, then yes. If you like the outdoors for hiking, camping, fishing, skiing, then no.

I’m more of indoor entertainment person @bboop42

such as

movie theater, concerts, dancing (nightclub style), shopping centers, water park (outdoor) @bboop42

water park and concerts aren’t a huge deal

Yes movie theater, “concerts” are usually small music groups/bands in either restuarants or bars or on campus, yes shopping center / mall, no water park…but YES ski resorts. It definitely is not LA but I hear the campus/school does a good job of providing activities for students. Sorry if this isn’t much help.

I actually don’t live in LA…I live in Orange County which is 45 min away technically the suburbs of LA @bboop42
