The best topic is the one that will allow an Admissions Committee a glimpse into your soul – and that will be different for every applicant. There is no formula for admission nor one topic that is the best! You can write a wonderful essay about any topic; you can also write a horrible essay about the same topic. It all depends on what you say, how you say it and the “tone” of your essay.
