which Harvard club? and at what time of day?

The Harvard Club is at Orlando and the time is around 4pm.

Thank you spikemom. :)

If it's for an interview or info session, I think your proposed attire is fine. (If you had been invited to dinner I would have suggested to add a tie)

It's just a reception, no dinner.

It's not an interview or info sessions, just a place to meet up with current/prospective/alumni members.

That sounds fine. Make sure your shoes are in good repair.

Just a word of warning.... I know the Harvard club in New York is quite fancy with a bunch of blue blooded old men sipping on whiskey sours... If the Harvard Club in Orlando is anything like that you should go more formal, like loafers/dress shoes instead of sneakers.

Yeah, the shoes were the only thing I was questioning. I don't think it would be unreasonable to wear "real" shoes. It won't stand out if it's informal and you'll be all set if it's more formal than you expected.

I wore a suit and dress shoes to the only Harvard Club reception I attended, and I was glad I did because I definitely didn't look out of place.

I agree with what others are saying, wear dress shoes with the outfit and you'll be fine.

They just had a very nice luncheon in Kansas City for the EA's.. well dressed was the attire.
