I'm currently choosing between Harvard and Stanford for computer science. Harvard doesn't seem to have as many world renowned faculty members as Stanford, and lacks some of Stanford's CS specific programs and resources as well. Stanford is, of course, also located in Silicon Valle. Are there any advantages Harvard has over Stanford when it comes to CS, or any reasons to ignore Harvard's weakness in CS in favor of its overall strength?

I am also interested in Harvard computer science and tech opportunities in the Boston area. Thanks for any info.

Stanford is really the way to go for CS honestly

If it’s any other majors, it may not be as clear cut. For Computer Science, hands down Stanford has one of the best CS departments in the country.
