Hi everyone,

I applied to Harvard a few days before the deadline through CommonApp and received login info for the applicant portal. After creating an account on the applicant portal, my recommendations and transcript were sent, finalizing the application (all before the REA deadline) and I could view that this info was received by the admissions office on the applicant portal. However, unlike some of the other colleges I applied to, I never received confirmation email saying that all my materials were received.

Does Harvard send these confirmation emails?

As long as all your applicant checklist shows every document as being received (barring mid-year reports etc. that won’t be submitted until later,) you’re fine. Admissions’ll likely contact you if you’re missing anything major.
