So you're saying they likely mail them out on the 29th?

12am on the 30th, according to the article in The Crimson.

brian-mc, that's when decisions are online, right? i'm guessing they don't mail out letters at midnight.

when do the actual letters usually arrive? also, do they arrive the same day for those who are accepted and those who are rejected? im thinking about waiting it out for the letter, but only if it isnt a huge time difference...

Online desicions are emailed at 5pm on the 30th. The physical letters are mailed at 12am on the 30th. Yes, they can do that. The Boston post office sorting center is a 24 hour facility, and Harvard has more than enough resources to get them there at midnight.

Hahvad slaps down its powerful hand and says OPEN THE DAMN POST OFFICE.

I'm too impatient for this...I think I'll go crazy soon.

aHhHHhhhHHHHHhhhhhhhhHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Well only a couple more weeks folks...

yeah, 2 weeks from tomorrow. scary.

12 days now

Well, 12 days + 17 hours, by my clock

Hey all, quick question: do all of the Ivy Leagues follow this precise schedule, namely, if I log on to every Ivy's website at 5 p.m. on March 30th, my decision (in theory) will be posted?

no
Princeton MAILS theres. When I mean mail, I mean with the post office, and postman, and mailbox--SNAIL MAIL. Its so anti-climactic and disheartening because some of us will undoubtedly commit suicide hearing their friends make it into harvard, and having to wait 10 or more days afterwards to hear from Princeton. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Yale posts their decisions online at the same time, or thereabouts.

penn also posts their decisions online after 5PM EST on March 30.

there should be a website which gathers all of your test scores onto one page...i bet the code isn't that hard since we use the same login and password for all of ours schools (if not e-mail, some are #'s like Harvard and Colubmia)...but all ivies should be posted on one page, for our conveniance. however, it should not effect your chances at one ivy, if you get into another and/or apply to another (all eight in my case) - need blind.

10 days left

10 Days 21 Hours 49 Minutes & 26 Seconds
ahhhhhhh! breathes

How bad is it that I'm sending them an update letter now? Really it's just a quick affirmation of my interest and some supplementary snippets. My guidance counselor called and they said they're willing to review any last-minute updates. Should I send?

Harvard doesn't care about interest much.

10 Days 21 Hours 21 Minutes & 53 Seconds!
I am so scared about Harvard decisions...

Everyone is interested in Harvard.
