Let's see. One day, 8 hours-ish. Sleeping 8 hours tonight, then there's only one day. An hour off for meals, that's 19 hours. Exercise and ensuing toilettries: 17 hours. A quarter of the homework assigned over spring break takes care of the rest, though I will have the pleasant distraction of 15 nervous science geeks ringing my doorbell for assurance that no, people at state competition don't breathe fire. Totally doable.

One day five hours and twenty minutes minus 12 hours of school today and tomorrow, 1.5 hours of soccer practice today, and 6-7 hours of sleep. I guess I can do that.

I just wonder if something wrong with us in the obsession to count down and check this crazy website 50 time a day...?

Nahhh...:)

Haha... no way? Haha, once you're a CC-er, this is considered normal.

....Oh? Did you mean relative to non-CC-ers' concept(s) of what is normal and what is not? Hmmm.... Dunno...... But hey AliceX2006, it can't hurt to wonder. Just be careful.... look where that got Alice in Wonderland! ;)

0 Days 19 Hours 46 Minutes & 40 Seconds

I think its fate. My soccer game was accidentally scheduled for 7:00pm instead of 5:00 like it was supposed to. God wants me to know the second I get my decision. I hope thats a good sign.

I'm sorry to say that the only times I come to CC anymore after the changed the site is around major events like AP exams, SATs, and of course COLLEGE DECISIONS!!!!

19 Hours and 40 Minutes Left!!!!!!!!

^brah u over it.

Hey Crimsondreams! Wow, by your username, I would've assumed that you did apply to Harvard! Did you intend to at one point? Where did you end up applying(/being accepted) instead?

That's pretty cool to live vicariously... Just watch out though... on CC, that kind of dependence on others can be BAD. LOL, just as CC is addicting, so is vicariously living on the every word and post of certain CCers. ;) Just be careful (lol, I've thought of this place as a sort of "Procrastination Station").... hehe, 'nuff said ;)

In any case, I do enjoy chatting with my peers from across the country and around the world and seeing how they are dealing w/ the college application/decision waiting nightmare!

Good luck to everyone. Soon we'll know!

How do you guys get 19 hours???? The countdown says 21

i'm going to host a Harvard decisions day party and invite all my friends and family. by 5:00PM i'll have everybody huddled up near my computer screen and we'll see what happens! you guys should do it too!

Hmmm.... sounds tempting... but idk... I suppose it's a fun idea to pass the time.. and then to have some great support either way (regardless of the outcome). But I don't know how comfortable I'd feel. Hmm, I guess it depends on YOU. I think I'd rather find out on my own and then let everyone else know. ....That's just me :)

In any case, good luck to everyone!! :D Later.....

I don´t think it´s a good idea. You may say you´ll be comfortable having your family and friends around you when you open the e-mail. But you don´t know how you will really feel if you get rejected, which let´s face it is a possibility. The first time I got rejected from Harvard, I did not feel that upset, but I wanted to be alone to decide what to do next. Then everything got back to normal. :) Good luck everyone. And remember that Harvard is not the only great university in the world.

Agreement: I'd prefer finding out when I'm by myself too...

Though since I'll get 20 000 phonecalls and emails from my family and friends (and will send out that many as well... :) ) I might as well throw a big party, eh?? :) Save us all the phonebill.. :)

Schlaraffenland (I won the state spelling bee:D) the countdown adjusts itself to your local computer time. I guess your timezone is GMT-3 right? FYI mine is GMT+7, but I readjusted my local time to EST just for the countdown;) It's still convenient though; just disregard the AM/PM sign and you're fine;)

I had too much smash (Norwegian chocolate candy stuff), so now I'm naseous as well as nervous. And soon to be miserable. Great, just great. :D

0 Days 10 hours 13 Minutes 5 Seconds

APDoolittle- I'm actually only a sophomore (eek!) so it's worse for me to be procrastinating here than all the seniors who can finally relax! I guess it's a payoff though, I'm learning tons about the college admissions process so it will be muchhh easier when (if) I actually do apply.

Roughly 6 and a quarter hours. Can do.

...i'm at school and i can't check the countdown because of the "side advertisments/pornography" hahahah. How much more? This day is so slow.
