I am in the process of selling a successful business that I have built over the last 10 years and I am contemplating going back to school. I am 30 and while not wealthy, I don't need to work for 5-10 years if I wanted to go to school. I never went to college or university (I had excellent high school grades I just liked business better at the time) so I am a little bit ignorant when it comes to academia.

I had a question about Harvard Law. (I realize that Harvard Law is extremely difficult to get into but I figured if I approach my studies with the goal of getting into Harvard that even if I fall quite short of that goal I should have the option of getting into a less prestigious Law program.) Anyways accoring to Harvard Law's website you must hold a bachelor's degree or expect to hold a bacheor's degree by August of the year for which they are applying. I emailed them for clarification and they explained the earliest you can submit an application is during you senior year of college. However if you look on their website they are going to be accepting applications for 2014 next September. With my timeline in mind I would be receiving my bachelor's in 2014 but in 2014 I would be applying for the 2017 or 2018 Law Programs. I assumed (If you had the grades and LSAT scores) that you could move from completing your undergrad degree to starting Law School the next fall. I would appreciate any insight on the possibility of making a seamless transition from obtaining a bachelor's degree to beginning Law School. Thankyou
