Harvard Supplement Optional Extra Essay

I wrote an essay for a specific college in Cornell and ended up liking it and how it reflected on my personality, so I was considering sending it, or a variant of it at least, to Harvard. A friend of mine read it and thought it was pretty good, but might show 'immaturity' due to an event with a friend (we were having Secret Santa and I did something creative that had him running around the class half the time with a few maps and codes - but it was amazing, everyone, including him, loved it). Any thoughts on that? I can PM further details if needed.

Furthermore, being the rushed guy that I am (ugh), I already sent in the supplement, so I can't edit the optional essay part. However, I can still tag it on the "Additional Information" section of the Common App, as there doesn't seem to be a word limit on the upload document part of it. I could just write "Extra Essay" or something similar and paste it. I already have 2 sections in the Ad. Info anyway. I know it's not ideal but I really think this adds to my application. Thoughts?
Thanks in advance :)

I think you should mail/fax it in, along with a cover letter explaining your circumstances.
See the harvard admissions website for the proper submission protocol.

p.s. would you mind chancing me?
