Harvard tour v Yale tour

it seemed to me that the Yale info session guy and the Yale tour guide was alot more spirited and excited to talk about Yale than the Harvard ppl.

The Harvard tour guide was just talking in monotone while the Yale tour guide was actually telling personal stories and tradition.. the harvard guy just kind of repeated everything that was in the guidebook..

i dont know.. maybe it was just because the weather in cambridge that day was really disgusting (the really light rain that falls down like needles and makes everything feel humid)

In general, Yale students are much happier/satisfied with their undergraduate education than Harvard students are. Yes, I'm biased, but so are the Harvard students who wrote the Cult of Yale (Harvard Magazine) and the Crimson authors who published that the vast majority of which voted "I wish I had gone to Yale" on a campus-wide poll--not that they were smart enough to get into Yale, because they were dumb enough to settle for #2 :D:

Don't let one unimaginative tour guide sour you on H -- it's still a wonderful institution. For some interesting discussion (including several Yale and H grads) read this thread:

Yale students are much happier in general. I think that is reflected in the tourguides.
