I am trying to decide between Harvard and Princeton after being accepted at both schools. I plan to major in physics and double major/minor in something related to creative writing (English maybe--I'm not sure creative writing itself is an actual major), art, or film (only available at Harvard). I am in a bit of an odd situation with my interests divided equally between the arts and the sciences. Any advice regarding the pros and cons of each school and/or the specific departments would be greatly appreciated, especially from current students.

to the OP,

Princeton students may not double-major.

At Harvard, the VES (Visual and Environmental Studies) department is extremely terrific from what my theatre/artsy friends say. Also, I took a physics class last semester. I personally believe I had been misplaced in this specific course, but even with that circumstance, I really got a tremendous amount of knowledge from it and by the end of the semester it was a great experience. So yeah, all in all, a great opportunity in both fields, so good luck with your choice (had a similar one last year) and hope you come to pre-frosh.

Thank you for the quick responses. I didn't realize that you could not double major at Princeton--I just found out that I got in, so my research on the two schools has just started.
