Basically what the the title says. Which school is better? I applied to all three and wanted to know which school has the edge. Please dont focus too much on rankings. I am undecided what to major in and which career to pursue. Just wanted to know before I get my rejection letters. Thanks guys!

Academically? They are equal.

However, each has their own perks… Harvard is highest ranked. Princeton is known for being extremely focused on undergraduate education (and being relatively smaller for it). Yale has the residential college system.

Obviously each has more unique characteristics than that, but those are what first spring to mind. Still, though, if you don’t look at rankings (or at least look at multiple sources of them), HYP are all basically academically equal on the undergraduate level. Since you’re not aiming for a particular field, that’s just kind of how it is.
It’s not like you can really go wrong attending any of them. Not horribly, at least.

Do you prefer rich Corinthian leather seats or burled walnut dashboard accents? That’s basically how you decide among these schools if you get the opportunity to do so.

Wherever you get an offer from would be the best for you.

Nice one Gryffon

So true lol.

That’s why I avoid making these kind of threads. It just seems pretty presumptuous to me. Particularly as such questions are irrelevant unless you have the acceptance letters in your hand.

Or if you’re trying to decide which one to spend application money on.

What might each be looking for in an applicant more so than the others? And which aligns most with Columbia’s admissions policy?

I know that I’ve seen a similar thread out there within the past few months, but I haven’t found it.

Considering you yourself don’t even know what you want to pursue…it’s rather hard for us strangers to tell you which is better…

So true. You haven’t given us any sense of what you want out of a college, so at this point, they’re all equally suitable (or unreachable, who knows) for you.

You wouldn’t be asking for a comparison of the three if you did not presumptuously expect an acceptance from at least two of them, so there’s no point in adding in that last bit about rejection letters (which you, as everyone else, will most likely receive).

HYP get in anyone is win!
