<p>@2014nhs Not Cornell and Penn. They both have relatively high (compared to other Ivy League schools) acceptance rates. Both are great schools, though.</p>
<p>True, but as a teacher of mine once explained it, they accept the obvious applicants (the geniuses) and then after that its almost like a raffle. Because, if you feel like you are the smartest student in your school, there are thousands of other students who are the best in their high school. So, they kind of have to pick and choose through all these great kids. Its not that its a shot in hell, its just its up to chance after a certain point.</p>
