Harvard

How do you tell people that you are attending Harvard without sounding pretentious?

I have my butler do it for me.

If you’re not a pretentious person you won’t come off as pretentious

Don’t tell them unless they ask you. If they ask, just say that you go to Harvard. The truly pretentious response is “In Boston” because then you’re personally making a big deal about it, and they’re always going to inquire further anyway with “which school in Boston?”

Exactly. If people ask me where I’m going, I tell them straight up; to respond with some “euphemism” seems to me like an insult to the questioners maturity. Pretension is all in the demeanor and tone of voice, I find.

funny. I lol’ed. :)

I also loled.
