Harvard's ANTHRO department / Mind, Brain, Behavior

Hey. I’m new here and interested in Harvard.

I was wondering if anyone is familiar with the anthropology department at Harvard. I’m really interested in both the biological anthropology and the special track called “Mind, Brain, Behavior” within the department.

Questions for Both:

Is this a good department for undergraduates?
Are there research opportunities?
Is it competitive (and filled with pre-meds, which is not my future)?
How’s the teaching?
What about the workload?
Is this a very intense track (like the hard sciences) where students are extremely stressed out, or farily balanced between the humanities workload/stress level and the sciences like bio, chem, and physics?

Any other comments would be wonderful!

Thank you.
