Harvey Mudd College vs. Caltech, MIT, etc.

How is Harvey Mudd College for biology? For some reason, I don't hear much about it, but reading through their viewbook, they seem to place a LOT of emphasis on undergraduate research in sciences.

What makes Harvey Mudd College better for science versus other schools like Caltech or MIT? How is it compared to Reed?

Which would be a better education for someone interested in Biology: Pomona or Harvey Mudd?

Thanks for your help. The Harvey Mudd board was a little empty, hopefully my question can be viewed by more people in this forum. :)

Mudd has the highest rate of students going on for Ph.d.s in chemistry of any college in the country, bar none. No idea about biology, though.

The professors at Mudd are more focused in teaching.

Following up on mini's comment, Reed has the highest (#1) percentage of graduates going on to PhD's in biology. It is #2 in chemistry, and very high in physics, math. the social sciences and humanities. Harvey Mudd also does well across the sciences.
