I’m just curious if anyone knows whether this specific school frowns upon taking the SAT more than 3 times. Something very unfortunate happened the day of one of my attempts and I was unable to concentrate.
Please let me know your experiences(Rice alumni or current students!!)
Rice allows self reporting of scores by students from a US high school and super scores. Don’t send the score from the time you had difficulty concentrating if it is an aberration. Rice says we “hope” students report all scores, but this is no longer a hard and fast requirement. Rice presumes that students may take the tests multiple times and says it will recombine test scores from multiple sittings and/or sections to use the highest possible score for the student. https://admission.rice.edu/policies/standardized-testing
Nope, I took it 4 times. Submitted all 4 and got accepted! It should be fine, but I would not go beyond 4.
