Just curious!

Yes, D applied RD. Did you (or your parents) receive the letter about the parent(s) of the applicant sending in any additional information to help the admission staff get to know the student better? I thought that was a rather unique and cool idea.

Yes...my mom actually just printed my letter out. We had never heard of such an idea... I am eager to hear my decision but since i applied nursing i wont hear until february.

I am a nurse so admittedly I am biased, but I think a nursing school adds so much to a campus. When we visited Saint Anselm this summer I looked into their program a little bit (D is political science, not nursing) and was very impressed. Good Luck to you~

From what we saw in our visit/heard about the program its very reputable at St A's. The facilities were impressive and it seems they take it seriously. I am eager to hear my decision. Good luck to your daughter!

Yeah, Saint A's has a great poly sci program and has serious law school connections. A lot of St. a's kids actually go to Notre Dame for law and the New Hampshire Institue of Politcs is incredible. Despite the fact that I'm only a junior, this has already earned a high place on my list.

My S applied RD. We also received a request to provide a parent's letter of recommendation. We sent one in.

S received his acceptance letter yesterday!

Merry Christmas to all.

Congratulations...I have to wait until February to get my decision. : / Happy Holidayss...

Thanks mciar! You must be a Nursing applicant. From our visit, it sounds like the nursing program at St. A's is very strong. S is planning to major in Business. Good luck to you!

ACCEPTEDD!! My letter came in the mail...a total surprise bc after our campus visit we thought we wouldnt hear til atleast feb. :)

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am glad you didn't have to wait until Feb.

Ha Ha...yes me too! Does your s or d thin k they are going to go to st a's? I am just curious bc i notice you are also from CT.
:)

My S really likes St. A's. He is not yet sure where he wants to go, but St. A's is one of his top choices. He wants to go out of state somewhere.

Hey, congratulations you two! :)
Still no word yet here.

Thanks kmaqMom! My son applied RD back in October, so he might have been further up the pile. Good luck to your D!

I applied in RD early december and got my letter today :) I'm in the honors program and got some merit money :) :) good luck

Congratulations Medaughan~

My D also received her acceptance today :)

Congratulations to her too! I’m still waiting to hear from my other schools but I got a fairly generous merit package, so you never know.

Congrats to both of you! :)
