Hi all -
Congrats to the UNC class of 2018! To those still waiting, best of luck to you! My son got the acceptance email on Thursday but has not heard anything since. It seems like he should have at least heard about Decision Days (based on what I am seeing here from other people). So, has anyone else had "dead silence" since acceptance?

Thanks for your input!

I have too! It has been freaking me out!

We are in-state and he has not received his admission packet in the mail either. We are only an hour and a half from Chapel Hill so it should only take a day to get here. I’m sure it’s no big deal, but it is making me a little nervous. He, on the other hand, is as cool as a cucumber about it. :)

I wouldn’t worry about not receiving in the mail yet- we only live 20 minutes away and haven’t received it yet either. We have gotten those email invites. Check your MyCarolina and see if you have any invites listed there. If not, maybe call tomorrow and ask?

Don’t worry about snail mail–I’m in Charlotte and haven’t gotten anything yet either. I think USPS is still behind from the snowstorm of the century (lol). I had to send something to Athens, did it last Monday, estimated to be delivered last Wednesday and it’s still not there.

My son received one email about Tar Heel Launch. It showed up on his My Carolina page before he got the email though so definitely check there. We’re in Charlotte and also haven’t gotten the packet. The “snow” definitely slowed down the mail across the state.
