Read that, ok that makes me feel a lot better

I’ll just be patient haha

best of luck to everyone!

its sent out based on time zones? but I live in the central time zone and I still haven’t gotten a decision yet…

I don’t think “sending out based on time zones” means that those who are earlier will get their decisions earlier. I think they’re sending out decisions based on categories - maybe they alphabetized the time zones, etc.

I’m afraid that whole thing is untrue, though. A friend of mine, from the same school, has been accepted and another friend and myself have not received an email or have anything on the portal. Guessing that means I’ve been rejected/deferred.

I think I will not get a decision during my lifetime now that’s worse than a rejection

^ To all of you worrying about not getting e-mails, I still haven’t received an e-mail and I got an acceptance 45 minutes ago =P. Though it took me half an hour of trying to actually log in and 2 tries before I could get the letter to load (and I still have trouble logging in).

Don’t worry; if anything, I should be worried because I haven’t seen a single rejection so far xD.

Relax guys. You will all get a decision.

Please don’t call the admissions office. Considering there’re probably hundreds of people trying to call in right now. And considering they supposedly left early today.

Exactly what happened to me. Finally got in at around 4:40 and clicked the decision link, only to have it crash again and log me out. Got in the second time.

Yeah, everybody knows the whole decision-e-mail correlation. Except some of us have absolutely nothing on our account homepage and no e-mails…

I’m doubtful about the time-zone thing. My friend who goes to the same school as I has already gotten a letter.

No email. Checked online saw letter rejected. Congrats to you who made it in.

Don’t worry about the difficulty logging on. I live in California and tried to log on at least two dozen times with no success. I finally got through and was accepted.

It may have been a coincidence but the time I got through I made sure I typed in my email address and password really fast. I typed my email address on a Word document and copied it so that I could insert it by hitting control v. I then type my password and hit enter. It worked when I was fast.

I didn’t receive an email.

Good luck everyone!!

I think they went through and posted acceptances by time zone (the time zones were random) and are now going through and posting deferences and rejections, unless they’re not done with all acceptances.

Nope, people have gotten rejections as early as 15 minutes into the decision release period.

I logged in BUT I CANT SEE ANY LETTER OR ANY LINK FOR A DECISION LETTER!!!

Srrinath, please re-read Eugeneho’s post about 4:15. I think you’ve misunderstood what he was saying. It seems to me that he says that he signed it at 4:15, didn’t get an email but read the letter (about acceptances being released) and so he signed on and saw nothing. There was no letter of rejection specifically mentioned. Now, there has been one rejection on this thread, but please don’t keep posting that rejections went out that early based on that one ambiguous post.

How come it says the website is temporarily unavailable for me???

No, he PM-ed me around that time about his decision. Also, another friend told me on a chat well before 4.30 that he got rejected.

I didn’t even get an email yet… I live in china…

It either tells me an error or shows no change in my account
