Has anyone gotten their financial awards summary yet?

I was admitted about a month ago and haven't seen any financial award info posted on mycsulb yet, so just wondering if anyone else has seen their award. And does anyone know when they should be up? Thanks

Sameeeee, waiting on all that info as well. I did some browsing and I’ve found that most schools send their aid award letters from early April to mid April, but we’ll see what happens

yeah i did all that and it said i have no financial aid award available to view…but it also says they’ve received my fafsa so idk…i guess ill call them in a couple weeks if it doesnt change

same problem. i know im entitled at least a cal grant, and on my to-do list it states how they want to see my proof that i was ward of the court. i still have to send it in, but i figure i would be able to at least see something.

but when i click it says nothing is avalible to be seen. that can’t be right,

This is from an article on the CSULB website about Federal Loans, but I believe that this could be the reason why many of us haven’t seen our Award Aid summaries yet (I suppose they need any requested documentation before making any offer to students):

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Submit any documentation requested by the CSULB Office of Financial Aid.

When the student’s financial aid file is complete, an award package will be generated, and can be accessed on MyCSULB.

Federal Pell Grant Grant 5,400.00 5,400.00
SMART Grant Grant 4,000.00 4,000.00
Cal Grant A Grant 4,335.00 4,335.00
ESTIMATED Pell Grant 2,700.00 0.00
CSULB Summer Grant 400.00 0.00
Aid Year Totals 16,835.00 13,735.00

I’m a Junior commuting from home and here’s my financial aid packages after declining all loan. The last 2 are for Summer 2011 and I still haven’t decided if I should take summer school or not.

Here is a letter I got about my SMART Grant for next year,

“Our records show that you are a recipient of a Federal ACG or SMART Grant for the current 2010 2011 academic year. We are writing to inform you that the current 2010-2011 academic year will be the final year these grants can be awarded. Congress did not authorize federal funding for the ACG and SMART Grants beyond the current academic year, resulting in our inability to continue making awards next year. Please keep this in mind while you make your financial preparations for the 2011 2012 academic year.”

Darn-it, There go $4,000 for just majoring in statistic with over a 3.0 GPA.
