Has anyone landed an internship through a career fair?

Most of my interviews for internships I have gotten through career fairs. However, like Diivo I am in the software field. It seems that most of the companies at the career fairs are either looking for CS or Business students, so it could be tough if you’re, say, a history major. Career fairs are an awesome way to get jobs.

Well to answer crowslayer, it paid $3300 a month. Now I realize that may not be as lucrative as a facebook or google internship, but that summer I was just a freshman Cal student with a 3.3 GPA, so I was stoked to be earning it, since in high school in Idaho I earned only $5.25 an hour working at KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken).

PS: I also got the best employee award (KFC CHAMPS) award for great customer service and I was used as an example of a good fast food employee. I felt like the spongebob of my time and that is a greater feeling than any amount of software or hardware recognition I will ever attain in the future :stuck_out_tongue: lol

^ hahaha winning!
