<p>I know that the NST 10 final is optional, but I want to know whether any of you have taken it in the past. </p>
<p>My GSI said that maybe the questions are going to be "copied and pasted" from the past 3 midterms. Is that correct? Was it like that when you guys took the final. Also, did you guys ever get any extra credit assignments? </p>

<p>Starting last semester (Spring 2012), Nastaran decided to stop giving out EC. The GSIs that I talked to said they wanted to bring that back because it gave them some leverage on attendance/participation in section. However, the professor stopped EC altogether last semester.</p>

<p>I took it last semester. I didn’t take the final but from what I have heard from my friends taking with me, some questions were really copied from past 3 midterms. The final shouldn’t be that difficult, anyway.</p>
