Hey, no offense — and I really mean this in the utmost respect — but how do you plan on explaining in your transfer essays why you took an entire semester off to retake your SAT’s, rather than balancing SAT study work through the summer and testing either in the summer or while taking competitive courses?

Wouldn’t it be blatantly obvious that you took off to compartmentalize your life into taking the SAT, and then coming back to continue courses?

I understand where you’re coming from with you’re dual credit, but just because you gained a semesters worth of dual credit doesn’t exempt you from enrolling in the Fall of 2010, taking courses, while also studying for the SAT. Moreover, the dual enrollment will also count as part of your high school record, as well. Even if you don’t think you can handle all of the SAT prep while taking courses, sign up for a couple of courses in the Fall anyway. Are you really going to prep for the SAT 24/7? Or, more realistically, 60 hours a week? Try supplementing some of those 60 work hours with some college curriculum. And, if you start taking courses in the Fall, you’ll be able to rack up some EC’s as well.

That’s just my two cents.
