<p>Has anyone ever received the CV scholarship with only a 1490 M/V SAT?</p>

<p>I have an unweighted 4.0 and a prospective valedictorian (won't know until later this year). I write a mean essay, but I'm trying to figure out if it's even worth applying. My 32 ACT kind of kills all my chances. I was supposed to have a retake but there was a scheduling error and I couldn't make it (serious reason).</p>

<p>Do you know anyone who has ever gotten one with similar stats? It's pretty disheartening to see all the 1580 kids get rejected.</p>

<p>Yes, I personally know a person that has. Don’t worry too much about it. Seriously. When it really comes down to it, everyone has a chance. Make sure you write about what’s special about you.</p>
