Has anyone......

Has columbia recieved anyoen's SAT October scores. Columbia has not received mine and I am gettting worried.

i dont know about columbia, but another school has received my october SAT II scores. it came about 2 weeks ago.

mines are in..but missing one which is 800!!! -_-; weird....
but other schools didn't get yet

How do you know if they got it or not?

they haven't received mine either... hopefully it's just because they take a while to update. :S

Neither have they mine. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about.

thanks everyone!

Whew. i'm glad I found this post since I was worried about the same thing!

they've received mine

wait what!? how do ya know if they received them or not?

you can track your application on the columbia site. all u need is an app id, which they should have emailed to u (if not, call them for it)

hmmm...my application still isnt complete. Columbia hasn't recieved one of my recomendations, my counselors rec, my transcript, or my SAT Score Report.

Anyone else have this problem?

Smithk, i'm having the same problem as you...my stuff was all sent out by the 29 (i think) and it was only today that all of them completely said "recevied" on their site...so dun worry because they have a TON of apps, but it never hurts to call...or does it?

Is anyone having a smiliar problem with fin-aid apps/requirement problem on the site where they say they didn't receive anything even when you sent everything out already?

Okay: Add-On, Anybody having specifically fin-aid stuff that the college didn't receive yet??? I need mental assurance...plzzzz?

I have your exact same problem smithk. We're both missing the same things, but I know my transcript, counselor's rec, and recommendations have been sent in because I took them to the post office.

I guess they are jsut being slow.

Delfire - i am having the same problem as you regarding the financial aid! they havent received anything, and i sent it out a good 4 days before it was due. so i guess they must be flooded with all these apps. after all, tis the season!

i'm just relieved to have finally recieved my app ID...best of luck to you all!

They've received everything of mine except the test scores (from October) and the FinAid app and tax forms.
U of Chicago probably has around the same number of early applicants but they have everything from me and its all nicely detailed on their site (and Chicago is really far while Columbia is nearby).

Edison, when i spoke with my interviewer about all materials needed for admission, he told me that if one applies for aid, and if the fin-aid documents and paper doesn't clear (especailly for ED), then they won't even LOOK at your app...

In my case, ALL of my apps/scores/transcripts are received, so it means they won't look at it until the fin-aid office tells the admission office that I'm cleared for evaluation for admission...

Sucks...huh?

EDIT: I Called them up today about this, guy at admissions tells me something about a "Grace period" where you have to give them a couple of "days" (aka weeks) for the stuff to be picked up.
