Has my vocabulary deteriorated or are these just really hard?

<p>I got a 730 on the vocab portion of the SAT and was planning on concentrating my efforts on the math portion. However, I found this site: <a href="http://majortests.com/sat/sentence-completion.php%5B/url%5D"&gt;http://majortests.com/sat/sentence-completion.php&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p>

<p>This site has mini vocab tests and I can usually only get about 8/12 questions right... I'm not sure if it's just me but these are much harder than what I remember on the real SAT... if I can only get 8/12 right on those should i be studying vocab as well?</p>

<p>I got a 9/12 and got a 670 on the CR section of the SAT.</p>

<p>Oh, I was doing those a couple months ago. They are quite hard... I used them as a source of new vocab words to memorize.</p>

<p>I don't recommend their passage-based questions, either. VERY hard. I was lucky to get half of them right.</p>

<p>i just took the practice test... i got 10/12... some educated guessing on some? :)</p>

<p>but, i get 640 on the CR... im good at the sentences but suck at passages... :(</p>

<p>i wish the passage came as easily as the sentences.</p>

<p>don't take just one sentence completion test take several of them to get a better idea of where you stand... 8/12 is my approximate average i scored very low sometimes and very high sometimes... you can't just base it all off one 12 question section...</p>

<p>i'd guess im somewhere between a 9 and a 10.</p>

<p>My vocabulary is pretty good, but i get most of my answers through logical reasoning</p>

<p>i got a 9. How do these compare to the SAT sentence completion questions? Looks like these are harder.. right(i dont know because i havn't taken the new SAT's yet)?</p>

<p>yeah these are definetly harder. 4 to 5 on the difficulty scale</p>

<p>Definitely harder haha, I think I'm waaay better on passages, 720 on CR and I got a 8/12 on the first test, lmao.</p>
