The title says it all. Just in general, managing time and responsibilities
I don’t understand how people use twenty different colors to color-code their planners/calendars or those productivity apps (mainly website-blockers). My schedule just consists of school, out-of-school activities, and time with friends; I use Google calendar to keep track of deadlines and test dates, but that’s it. I don’t have trouble remembering when my extracurriculars are, so I don’t see a point in writing them down.
As for actually getting work done/not procrastinating, literally just close all the irrelevant tabs on your computer/force yourself to sit down and start working without second thought. Don’t give yourself time to ponder or contemplate when you should start studying, and once you start, don’t stop until you’re finished or feel your productivity waning (not synonymous with starting to feel bored/lazy). Breaks are good, but everyone’s attention span is different, so that’s why I don’t like the Pomodoro Technique; 25 minute productivity bursts/10 minute breaks leave me too distracted.
And if you find yourself struggling to finish your work, you’re either doing too much, studying inefficiently, or procrastinating.
Remember your motivations.
