Have your teachers ever flirted with you?

See post #50 & #54.

He did not say "I do not attempt to flirt with teachers because I believe it is morally wrong ". He said “It is morally wrong for anyone to do this”

I’m sure there are oodles and oodles of issues to which one religion/person has a moral objection, but that statement does not imply that others must agree with it/him/her.

He said “It doesn’t matter. Morals are morals.”, which implies that all morals are universal and anyone who disagrees with him [Edit: about respecting teachers] is an immoral person.

^I think you’re over analyzing the situation.
As I said before, don’t tax your brain. Its a simple concept. I’m not forcing anything on you. I’m telling you my personal views, and I think its fairly reasonable.

Teachers, whether paid or not, motivated or not, are still helping you. Its the action that is more significant than the intent.
Even if the teacher is “bad” he still deserves respect…you need not like him, but you have to respect him…at least you should respect him.

Your logic about creating a new religion about killing people is false. It doesn’t even make any sense and it proved nothing…nothing but that you’re intentionally coming across as a butthead.

I have no problem with you expressing your personal views. If you had said something like “I do not flirt with teachers because I think it is wrong, from the teachings of Hinduism” I wouldn’t have had any problems. I object to you saying that it IS morally wrong for anyone to do this.

“Teachers, whether paid or not, motivated or not, are still helping you.”
I disagree. For example, my Physics teacher is completely useless and wastes my time - I get much more done studying by myself. Why should I respect her?

My point about the religion was you can’t say “This is taught by Hinduism, which is a religion, therefore you should follow it.” I’ll admit I didn’t say it very well.

my teacher asked me to Sadies…
