Thank you for replying I hve so many questions and no one answers lol! The freshman application for university of Miami seems unrealistic for me because of 9th and 10th grade. I’ve done really well in my college classes in 11th grade and over summer and my college GPA is a 3.6 unweighted. I feel like if I apply as a transfer my chances to get in are higher since they will look at my college classes more than my mistakes in high school.
I’m not really concerned about scholarships because my parents make more than enough money to send me to UM. It would be nice to start as a freshman and be with other freshman but my goal is to go to college and get an education not party and tailgate
Will your high school weight your DE classes? They should. And if they don’t, some of the universities will. That would boost your GPA, and show an upward trend.
Would it help to reach out to a UM admissions person and get their input (informally of course)?
Do you know what the requirements are if I take a few classes after I graduate and then transfer? Would I even be allowed to transfer?
