Having doubts about college...

I entered college undecided on a major. I switched into the business program, and transferred to a business school, thinking that it was what I wanted to do. I still don't know if I picked the right major, and I have no idea what I want out of life. I feel that I went to college too early and should have taken a year or two off to think about things. I am starting to worry about what I'm going to do when I get out of school. I don't really have any special talents, except maybe writing, but I don't really want to be a writer. I don't really have a passion that would lead me to another major, but whatever it is I think I want to help people (but don't focus on this). Things like criminal justice and psychology seem interesting, but I would basically have to start school all over again if I decided on either of those, and I have already taken out an enormous amount of money in loans for my education. My issue with business is that I don't know what job I would enjoy, and other business majors are only focused on getting rich. I wouldn't say I hate my major, but i am starting to enjoy it less and less as time goes on.

I am extremely frightened of getting stuck in a career that I have no interest in. I also feel that I am wasting this great opportunity that I have and that I am running out of time to decide what I want to do with my life (I will be a junior in the fall). Anyway, I have a few questions about this:

Is there anything that colleges usually offer to match you with a career path? Are there any resources on the internet that can help me with this?

Do you think taking a semester or even year off would be a good idea in my case? Is dropping out an option, or that just a terrible idea?

Any other suggestions/advice? What majors have worked out for you?

Sorry for the rambling nature of this post, I just wanted to get everything on here. Thanks for your replies.

Well, I am no business major so I guess don’t know any of those specifics but what comes to my mind is the possibility of learning about and working for non profit organizations with your business major.
If you do develop more interests in psychology than I would recommended trying to go down that path, although it can be hard to find work with that major without a phd.

Join the Peace Corps.

Lol most business majors aren’t going to be rich.

Gap year!! Fo shoo.

Or do something like AmeriCorps/ Teach for America to give yourself some time to think after you’ve gotten your degree.

Most people don’t work in their majors specific field, so a degree in business would not pigeon-hole you into business-specific jobs.

Law school maybe? No specific major required for that professional degree post-bachelors. Otherwise, I believe there are a TON of criminal justice jobs that simply want someone with a college degree, and they never specify that it had to be any major.
