How hard is it to have my own major? Right now i’m Structual Engineering (SE), but I’ve been thinking and I might want to change to Industrial/Management Engineering (IE). I have looked through UCSD/Jacob’s website and found nothing of this major (IE). Posting up my dilemma on myspace, someone said to me that I could create have my own major. So I was just wondering how it was to do this. Would I still have the same “street cred” as the other engineers at SD? Any info is welcome, thanks.

I only know for erc. But imagine the other schools would have you do something similar
