Relax, Jack. Better now than right before the deadline. Still plenty of time.

jack - it took a little of 2 weeks after they were sent for my transcripts to show as complete. When I contacted admissions, they said it takes from 2-3 weeks for documents to process. I understand your concern, I was the same way. If you really think something went wrong, contact admissions. Good luck!

When I click on the link to check the status of my application and try to log in, I cannot. Did anyone else have a similar problem? I only set my application in 4 days ago. Also, is the username and password the same one that Tulane gives you when you begin to fill out the personal application?

FinalCut,

The application check Login and password are different than the ones that you used during the process of populating the online Personal application. I believe that when you send in Part 1, you are sent “Gibson login” information to the email address that you provided. This Gibson site login information allows you to check the application status.

My transcript was mailed out on the Wednesday the 16th. It’d be in New Orleans by Saturday and received by the office on Monday (the 21st).

Anyone else on a similar timeframe who’s transcript hasn’t posted to their app status yet?

Yes, mine took two and a half weeks to post. When i contacted admissions, that stated that it could take 2 to 3 weeks. If it doesn’t post by Friday, I would contact them.

I just found out I was accepted!!!

Congratulations ShankadaTanka!!

Congrats, Shankada

Congrats! Just wondering, were you contacted by mail?

I gave my counselor the recommendation and transcript request form on the 22nd and she said she’d mail it by that Wednesday (the 23rd). So I’m thinking it should be there by now but every time I check my app status it says it hasn’t been received yet.

No I wasnt contacted I checked the status of my application and it said I was accepted, they said they would be sending a letter shortly.
Thanks all!!!

Agree that you should stay on top of things. When my s applied, he started to use the personal app but ended up using the common app. Apparently they had started 2 files on him and each was considered incomplete. It took a few phonecalls (after the “the files are downstairs-- we’ll get them upstairs soon” responses, someone actually checked and discovered that there were 2 separate files. Once they merged the 2 files, his online acceptance was posted within 2 days!

Thanks for the reply. How long did it take from the day you sent in your application?

around 4 weeks like they said

I’m getting very frustrated and concerned! High school sent the transcript and info form on the 16th, and it still hasn’t posted. At this point, I would have said something went wrong, but I’ve also taken three classes at a community college and had them send a transcript totally independently. I called the office at Tulane and they didn’t have that on file either. That makes me think they MUST just be slower than usual, because it seems very unlikely to me that two different transcripts sent from different offices totally independent of each other BOTH got lost somehow.

Am I right, here?!

I just got my acceptance letter in the mail and a scholarship as well. It was like 5 weeks after they received my app…just to let all of you know

Congrats on the scholarship! It’s been 5 weeks today since I applied and haven’t heard anything yet. I know my admissions counselor was on an information tour throughout New Jersey but, I think she is back now. Hopefully I’ll hear something soon. Has anyone else heard anything?

5 weeks from the time you submitted everything or 5 weeks from the time the website said they had received all of your credentials? Ha, sorry for all the questions, I’m just anxious to see if I get accepted.

I understand your anxiousness, I’m feeling it too. It’s been 5 weeks since I submitted everything. It took three weeks to have everything shown as complete.

5 weeks after I sent everything in.
