HC's Randolph Named To CDS Preseason All-America Football Team

<p>Holy Cross senior quarterback Dominic Randolph (Amelia, Ohio) has been selected as a preseason second team All-American by Consensus Draft Services. He was one of only two players from the Patriot League named to either the first or second team, along with Colgate running back Jordan Scott.</p>

<p>Randolph returns as the starting quarterback for Holy Cross, after earning Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year honors last season. During the 2007 campaign, he completed 297 of 482 passes for 3,604 yards and 30 touchdowns with just eight interceptions. Randolph set Holy Cross single season records for total offense (3,741 yards), completions and passing attempts, while placing second on the single season lists for touchdown passes and passing yards. He led the Patriot League in total offense, passing yards and pass efficiency (141.6 rating), while ranking second in the nation in total offense, passing yards and completions. Over the course of his career, Randolph has now completed 481 of 781 passes for 5,841 yards and 49 touchdowns. He currently ranks fourth all-time at Holy Cross in touchdown passes and passing yards, while standing fifth in total offense, completions and pass attempts.</p>
