Since her resume changes more frequently than the headshot, she just has
her name printed on the front of the head shot.

Thanks - even though her resume won't change during the audition process, I like to have them separate. Some schools have requested a rep list only - some want rep list with resume and some want picture and some want a combo of the three so she'll just have them all handy.

Thanks for the input. I now have some good ideas on how to prepare the headshots (already done - can't do senior picture).

Hat

My daughter will be auditioning for voice performance At Cincinnati Conservatory, Carnegie Mellon, Baldwin-Wallace, and Oberlin. I keep reading about bringing a resume to the audition. We have sent everything in the mail. Her picture is on the CD. Should we bring another picture and resume with us?

None of S's schools say anything about photos. But he should take one anyway? How about plugging one into his resume? Small but nice?

i mean, unless you have to redo it or take more pictures or pay more money, just bring it. whats the harm? the worst thing they say is, thats okay, we have one.
and yes, if you have a photo, a small nice one is fine.

theres really never any harm in any of this

I mean a small photo, say 2x3. And does one hand the resume to the listeners (judges? faculty?) in an envelope or as a loose sheet of paper? Am I being overly concerned?

I would not hand judges a small photo - it would surely get lost. Scan it and put in at the top of the resume and hand in the current resume.

AblestMom, thanks, that's what I meant, to include the photo within the document so it's all in one piece, as opposed to a separate photo (my S thinks 8x10 is way too big, especially since there's no mention of a photo in his audition or app paperwork). But I could see having a small photo illustration in the resume just as a reminder.

That would work well! I'm sure they like having a face to remember on the resume!
